Job Description

With many years of experience in the retail supplies trade our client supplies store displays and fixtures to brands; retailers and traders throughout the UK and abroad. With exceptional overseas manufacturing facilities and expert workforce the company provides a one-stop-service specialising in advising of designs; manufacturing and fitting of the clients’ store, dealing with key clients within various parts of the storefitting and POS/POP market

 

With teams in different countries and a number of experienced staff within each department, the company has a growing team, trained to service any clients. As the portfolio of existing accounts grows, the sales team has had less time to devote to new business and so it is now necessary for the recruitment of a dedicated new business sales person to ensure the constant and stable growth of the company; with a focus on the store fixtures and shopfitting division of the company.

 

This is a pure business development role with no accounts to handle.
 
Qualifications

Potential individuals will be experienced sales professionals, with a demonstrably successful background of winning profitable new business via large volume orders, ideally within the shopfitting equipment market with a proven record of getting in with large Blue Chip retailers.

Based in the East Midlands your prime responsibilities would be to:-

-          Actively research, nurture and develop potential new clients, so as to win future orders

-          Sell the company’s ability to supply retail display equipment including, metalwork joinery, POS units and mannequins to end users, shopfitters, POP companies and design agencies throughout the UK and potentially mainland Europe

-          Jointly develop and implement the marketing plan to achieve the sales targets

-          Organise exhibitions and marketing campaigns

To be successful in this role the following qualities are looked upon:-

-          A flexible approach to work - Adaptability to multi cultural working environments with the ability or pursuing expansion in mainland Europe.

 

Ideally you will have 5-10 years experience with our client looking out for an enthusiastic dedicated worker; a real go-getter who shows a strong passion for the industry.

This position offers a negotiable salary. A personnel results based commission scheme will also be agreed with the successful individual plus company car/car allowance.
