Job Description

A rare opportunity to join a privately owned company operating across several sites, with an acclaimed reputation for both service and values.  Specialists in four key markets, they currently have a vacancy for a Business Development Manager within Retail Display Solutions.   Offering a bespoke solution to clients who differ in size and market, they tailor their services working with a client from conception to present visualizations/CAD drawings and prototypes, through the manufacturing process to delivery and installation, which is all project managed internally.   Although much business is repeat, the company is looking to grow and develop the retail arm of the business and as such would like to recruit a Business Development Manager to oversee it.  Although currently working with several major high street retailers and brands, they would like to look more closely at the type of clients they deal with and how they could focus their services to become more specialist and target their sales.

Qualifications

This is an important role within the business and presents an opportunity to join the management team from the off.  As such, the company is looking for a well rounded individual with experience as follows: A minimum of 3 years sales experience in the Retail Display industry Proven sales track record Evidence of an ability to communicate and develop individual relationships at all levels. Knowledge of materials and processes involved in the manufacture of POS/POP displays Experience of implementing sales and marketing strategies It goes without saying that applicants should have a strong sales drive and be self motivated.  A good listener with excellent organisational and man-management skills.
