A rapidly expanding events and publishing company has an opening for two Classified Advertising Sales Executives to work on two specific, accomplished magazine titles. Joining an established sales team, you will be part of an award winning company who excels in its’ core market and is able to offer progression, training and investment to all employees. As established magazines, there is core client base that regularly advertise and promote within the magazines, however there is a need to continually expand this core and develop new revenue streams looking for talented Classified Sales Executives to drive sales for these bi-monthly/monthly magazines. This role will be focused on both areas working to sales targets for each issue. This will involve client management and canvassing for new prospects. You will be expected to forward plan your role so that you are not under pressure to meet your targets. You will liaise with the Advertising Sales Manager and your line manager to ensure forecasts are accurate and relevant. Your role will be assessed and targeted against testimonials, sales calls and repeat business and through client visits. You will represent the magazine at trade events and other relevant events and exhibitions including networking both in and outside working hours where relevant. It will also be your responsibility to liaise with the production teams to ensure the smooth running of the classified section advertisements and management of the flat plan.

| Qualifications |

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in magazine classified advertising sales, with a sound base of telesales within a publishing environment for a more senior position; all requiring the following attributes:
- Confident sales technique - Thrive under pressure with a strong passion for ad sales - Commercially savvy and creative minded - Excellent all round communications - Strong proposal and presentation skills - Results driven - Self-motivated can-do attitude - Resourceful and organised - Good admin skills You will be required to demonstrate these attributes at interview stages using examples from your previous work experience, all the time demonstrating the skills, vision and passion that you have for the role.
