Job Description

A custom build design and manufacturing company has a current requirement for experienced sales professionals.    

Working across the board in various sectors our client has dealings with a wide range of blue chip names on a Global scale. With the support of its award winning design department and full in-house facility the company has established itself as a leading player in the exhibitions industry offering a full turnkey service worldwide. 

As a Business Developer you will be focused on generating business both throughout the UK and Europe, with no restrictions, developing relationships with both new and existing customers.

It will be your responsibility to obtain enquiries and own leads, to ensure the development of new business therefore a thorough understanding of the industry is essential to this to role.

As part of your role you will be expected to bring in your own ideas formulating a sales plan for each financial year to increase company turnover briefing and liaising with the designers and Design Director.

This position will be a field based role, and when not out and about you will be working from head office situated in the East Midlands.  Occasional work from home is to be considered dependant upon candidate.
 
Qualifications

You will be a trustworthy and honest individual who the company can rely on to work closely with their client’s, building and pushing business forward. 

You will have the drive and motivational skills to manage and mentor others to achieve company targets set, attending and presenting at meetings as and when required

A complete knowledge and past experience working within the Exhibitions industry is a must with a proven sales record and transferable contacts a strong advantage.   Excellent interpersonal and management skills are necessary to lead and develop the sales department with strong business development.
