Our client is an award winning specialist in POS installation, maintenance and field marketing services. They have consistently won industry awards that recognize their gold standard execution, high implementation levels and expertise.
The company now has a requirement for a Business Development Manager to push the business forward, introducing and developing new clients to build the company portfolio.
Based in the Northwest, your main role will be to identify and develop new markets of growth which compliment existing services, developing business within existing house accounts and/or new accounts won by other members of the New Business and Client Accounts team
Duties of the role will include:-
- To develop and sustain new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income to an agreed annual target, with the ability to increase year on year including presenting a service to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails
- You will have shared responsibility for new business, and are expected to self manage however, you will be part of a growing team of people with the same or similar responsibilities. Support is available from Directors for complex large pitches and strategies
- Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation, following company procedure
- A thorough understanding of client marketing objectives including their ROI objectives
- Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner
- You will effectively interact with other departments including the account management and technical team when handing over campaigns ensuring you are fully and correctly briefed in all aspects of the sale
- Keeping abreast of issues affecting POP, POS and Installation companies and the search industry in order to collect competitor intelligence
- Ensuring the Company remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients
